Slack messages now say what the ticket is Improved Today
A Slack notification used to name you and the kind of ticket, and nothing else. It now carries the ticket type, the customer, the description, the due date and how the ticket was created — so the channel is worth reading without opening the platform. Bear in mind everyone in that channel can read it.
How this works →
Every date and time reads in Eastern Fixed Today
A few places were showing the server's clock instead of yours — a due date set for the evening could be recorded as the next day, and the Features change log was four hours out. All of them now read in Eastern, and the ones with a time on them say so.
Urgent and Normal now swap instead of cancelling Improved Today
Clicking Normal while Urgent is on switches you to Normal, rather than clearing both. Clicking the one that is already on still clears it. They are two answers to one question, so only one can be on.
Recent activity: find what just changed New Today
A new page in the menu beside the queue, listing every change to every ticket, newest first — what moved, who moved it, and when. For the moment you click something and are not sure what you just did. Click the customer and the ticket opens.
How this works →
The What's new tab tells you when there is something new Fixed Today
The little mark on the tab was comparing dates, so if two things shipped on the same day you only ever heard about the first. It counts entries now, so every release gets its mark — and it still clears the moment you read the page.
Right-click a ticket to deal with it New Today
Right-click any ticket — a card on the board or a row in the list — and a short menu offers the usual endings: resolve it, mark it as needing no action, put your name on it, snooze it, or jump to it in HouseCall Pro. No more opening the ticket just to close it. You still get the Undo bar, so a mis-click costs nothing.
How this works →
Notifications open the ticket they name Fixed Today
Clicking a notification could open a different customer's ticket — usually whichever one happened to be sitting at the top of the board. It now opens the one it told you about, every time.
Tidier cards on the board Improved Today
The "overdue" label no longer hangs off the edge of a card. Two labels that appeared on every single ticket are gone, so the board is scannable again — an urgent ticket is now the one with a flag on it. Long pasted notes stop at three lines instead of burying the tickets beside them.
The top of the page stops overlapping itself Fixed Today
Scrolling back up on the board used to slide the filter chips straight over the menu. And opening the board on a phone could leave it reloading in a loop instead of dropping you on the list. Both fixed.
See everything that has changed New Today
This page. Every change since the platform started, newest first, with what each one means for you. The tab carries a small mark when something has landed since you last looked.
Correct a ticket's type New Yesterday
Detection guesses what a ticket is from the phone signal, and it is sometimes wrong. Now you can just change it, and the change is recorded on the ticket with your name on it.
Tickets from /todo appear in about a second Faster Yesterday
Write "/todo" on an internal note and the ticket arrives on the queue almost immediately, instead of waiting up to two and a half minutes. It slides in without reloading the page, so nothing you had open closes and nothing you were typing is lost.
How this works →
Filter the queue by priority New Yesterday
The Urgent and Normal tiles at the top are buttons now. Click one to see only those; click it again to go back. Picking both is the same as picking neither.
How this works →
Look somebody up New Yesterday
Search a name or a phone number and get one page with everything recorded about that person — every call with what was said, every ticket and how it ended, and whether they are blocked.
Notifications can post to Slack New Yesterday
Off until you switch it on. When it is on, being assigned a ticket tags you in your team's channel with a link straight to it. No customer details ever leave the platform — just who it is for.
The feedback button actually sends now Fixed Yesterday
It had never worked. Every report anyone tried to send was lost with a "please try again". It now saves what you wrote, attaches what you were looking at, and tells somebody straight away.
Cancelled and deleted jobs close their own tickets Fixed Yesterday
A job cancelled in the job system left its ticket sitting on the board forever. It now closes itself, and says why on the ticket.
How this works →
Blocking a number clears its tickets Fixed Yesterday
Blocking somebody now closes everything of theirs on the board, including message tickets that carry no phone number of their own.
The bug-report picture shows what you can see Improved Yesterday
It used to capture the whole page top to bottom, so a long queue came back as a strip metres long. Now it is exactly what was on your screen.
Background jobs say when they fail Safer Yesterday
The jobs that fetch calls, build tickets and write summaries can now raise the alarm when they stop working, instead of failing quietly for days.
July 2026
Notifications open the ticket, wherever you are Improved Jul 31
Clicking a notification opens that ticket in a panel over whatever you were doing. Your place in the queue, and your filters, are exactly as you left them.
How this works →
Filters apply without reloading Improved Jul 31
Changing a filter updates the list and the counts in place. No flash, no scroll back to where you were.
How this works →
Filter by several types or people at once New Jul 31
Missed calls AND needs-estimate, or yours AND unassigned. On a phone you can also sort the queue by age, priority, type or owner.
How this works →
A bell for things that need you New Jul 30
Tickets assigned to you and tickets going overdue now appear in a bell at the top of the page, with unread ones marked. It is per person — you only see yours.
How this works →
Undo a ticket move New Jul 30
Move a ticket by accident and a quiet prompt lets you put it back. Nothing is written until the moment passes, so undo really does undo.
How this works →
Turn a note into a ticket with /todo New Jul 30
Write "/todo call them back" on an internal note and a ticket appears, assigned to whoever you tagged. Off until switched on.
How this works →
Change somebody's email without losing their work New Jul 30
Their tickets, assignments and history follow them to the new address.
How this works →
Jobs waiting to be scheduled show the address Improved Jul 30
The ticket names the service address and the customer, so you can tell what it is without opening the job.
Switch features on and off yourself New Jul 29
Settings now lists what the platform does, in plain words, with what happens if you turn each one off. No one has to be asked.
How this works →
A help centre written for a second day New Jul 29
Short articles explaining what each part does and what to do when something looks wrong.
How this works →
The type filter copes with any number of types Improved Jul 29
The types with work show as buttons; the rest tuck behind "more". The bar stays the same length whether there are six types or sixty.
Background work can no longer swamp the machine Safer Jul 29
Transcription and enrichment now run inside fixed limits, so a busy afternoon of calls cannot slow the site down for the people using it.
The CSR dashboard opens for the team New Jul 27
One queue of everything needing a person: missed calls, unanswered texts, jobs nobody has booked. List or board, whichever you prefer.
How this works →
Every ticket has an owner New Jul 27
Assign tickets to people, see just yours, and set rules so certain types land with the right person automatically.
How this works →
Snooze a ticket until it matters New Jul 27
Send anything quiet until a time you choose. It leaves the queue, waits on its own page, and comes back when it is due.
How this works →
Notes on tickets, mirrored to the job system New Jul 27
Write what happened on the ticket and it appears against the customer in the job system too, so nobody has to keep two records.
Due dates that flag themselves New Jul 27
Give a ticket a date and it marks itself when the date passes, rather than waiting to be noticed.
Permission sets New Jul 27
Developer, Admin and CSR decide what each person sees. A developer can also view the site exactly as somebody else sees it, to check before asking.
How this works →
Report a bug from any page New Jul 27
A small button on every page takes a note and a picture of what you were looking at.
Blocking somebody quietens the platform too Improved Jul 27
Block a number in the job system and the dashboard stops raising tickets for them within a couple of minutes. Blocking stays where it always was — the platform just reacts to it.
Phones get a list, not a board Improved Jul 27
The board is a desktop tool. On a phone you land on the list, with one-tap resolve.
Unanswered texts become tickets New Jul 24
A customer message left without a reply raises a ticket, so it cannot slide off the bottom of an inbox.
How this works →
Call notes read like something a person wrote Improved Jul 24
Who said what, a short summary at the top, and the call's details in a tidy header.
How this works →
Every call gets written up automatically New Jul 20
Calls are transcribed and posted to the customer's record in the job system, usually within a few minutes of hanging up. Nobody types a summary again.
How this works →
See every call the platform has handled New Jul 20
A page listing each call, what was said, and whether the note made it across — so you can check rather than hope.
How this works →
Recordings never leave the building Safer Jul 8
Calls are transcribed on your own machine. No recording and no transcript is ever sent to an outside service.
