Right-click a ticket to deal with it

Everyday work
A short menu on any ticket that resolves, reassigns or snoozes it in one click.

Most tickets end the same handful of ways, and opening one just to mark it resolved is four clicks for a decision you already made. So **right-click any ticket** — a card on the board or a row in the list — and a short menu appears with the usual endings on it.

What is on the menu

  • **Resolve** — the ticket is done.
  • **No action needed** — nothing was wrong, or nothing needs doing. A different ending to resolved, and worth keeping separate.
  • **Assign to me** — puts your name on it without opening anything.
  • **Snooze until tomorrow** or **Snooze 1 week** — hides it until then. It comes back on its own.
  • **Open in HouseCall Pro** — jumps straight to the customer or job, in a new tab.
  • **Open ticket** — the full panel, same as clicking it.

If you pick the wrong one

You get the same **Undo** bar as everywhere else, and nothing is actually sent until it runs out. Click **Undo** or press **Esc** and it is as if you never touched it.

**Archive is not on this menu, on purpose.** It is the one action that cannot be undone, so it stays inside the ticket where you have to mean it.

On a phone

There is no right-click on a phone, and a press-and-hold would fight scrolling. Open the ticket and use the **Resolve** button at the top of it instead — that is already one tap.
