Reading a call transcript

Everyday work
Where transcripts appear and how to read them.

When call transcription is turned on, finished calls get a written transcript you can read instead of listening to the recording.

Transcripts show up in two places: on the call itself inside this platform, and as a note on the customer's record in your job-management software.

What you'll see

  • A header with who called, when, and how long it lasted.
  • The conversation itself, in order.
  • Where enrichment is on: labels for who's speaking and a short summary at the top.
Transcription is done by a computer, so expect the occasional wrong word — especially names and addresses. Treat it as a fast way to find what was said, and go to the recording when the exact wording matters.
