Turning features on and off
Treats a call your AI assistant picked up as still needing a person.
When the phone system's AI assistant answers a call, the call log shows it as answered — because it was. But no one on your team has spoken to that customer yet.
This switch opens a Missed Call ticket for those, marked 'AI answered', so somebody follows up with a real conversation.
What closes one of these tickets
Only a real follow-up: someone on your team calls the customer back, or the customer calls again and reaches a person. The original call showing as answered does not close it — that is the whole point.
When you turn it off
- Calls the AI answers are treated like any other answered call, and no ticket is created.
- Tickets already marked 'AI answered' stay open and still close on a real callback.
- Every other kind of missed-call ticket is unaffected.
ⓘExpect more tickets with this on — one for every call the AI handles, until a person follows up. If your team is happy treating an AI conversation as finished, leave it off.
